Apple & Cinnamon Tray Bake
This baking recipe is a real keeper! It is such an easy bake - just weigh all the ingredients (including the milk and Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil) and just one bowl to wash up!
150g Self-Raising Flour
150g Golden Caster Sugar
3 tsp Ground Cinnamon
3 large Cooking Apples
Optional glaze - Honey & Cinnamon
Pre-heat your oven to 180oC and line a 20cm x 30cm tin.
Peel, core and cut the apples into 1cm diced pieces. Put all ingredients except for the apples into a food mixer or mix with a hand held mixer until fully combined. Add the apples and gently fold in by hand.
Pour the cake mixture into the prepared tin and cook for 25 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then remove to cool on a wire rack.
If you want to glaze the cake brush over with honey and a sprinkling of cinnamon whilst still warm.
