Creamy Garlic Prawns
Looking to upgrade your lunch, or perhaps enjoy a rustic starter that's full of flavour? We can help!
It's our Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil with Garlic that makes for such a tasty dish. If serving a vegetarian, this recipe is just as delicious replacing the prawns with mushrooms.
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
180g raw and shelled king prawns
Good drizzle of Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil with Garlic
50ml double cream
4 slices of sourdough (we like a seeded one with this recipe)
Good handful of watercress
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
METHOD
Heat a frying pan on the hob over a high heat and drizzle in a good amount of Garlic Oil. When hot add the prawns and cook for a minute until they turn pink.
Add the double cream, and season with sea salt and some freshly ground black pepper and continue to cook for a minute or two more.
Lightly toast your slices of sourdough, and when plating, pile them up with the creamy prawns and then top with watercress.
