You will work closely with the Production Manager and wider team to ensure materials and finished goods are available when required, balancing forecast demand, supplier lead times, shelf life, and cash flow considerations.

  • Manage purchase orders through their full lifecycle — from placement to delivery, system entry, and handover to accounts
  • Maintain and develop inventory records (including new SKU set-up)
  • Manage rolling stocktakes and lead the year-end stocktake process
  • Work with the Technical Team to ensure all ingredients meet company policy and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate supplier and inventory data within internal systems
  • Forecast stock requirements for trade shows across all company brands
  • Review and improve stock control procedures and systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Highly organised and systematic approach to work
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Experience using bespoke inventory systems (Unleashed experience desirable)
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude suited to a small business environment
  • Ability to work 100% on-site in Thixendale

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Supportive and friendly working environment
  • Opportunities for growth and development
  • Comprehensive on-the-job training
