That January Feeling

Why do you think that we all for some reason feel that January is the month we will “get it all done?” I’m still trying to live up to that expectation! The first few weeks were used to regroup, have meetings to discuss the year ahead. Then the remainder of the month is spent trying to wade your way through the list you created in those meetings, whilst making sure that you don’t succumb to life’s distractions, the World Wide Web being the greatest of these. Although I have found many interesting facts and some corkers on YouTube, I must however get back to the job at hand.

First is the planning of all the years’ shows and events. This year we are attempting to be ultra organised and book into as many events as time allows. Last year ended on a high for all us foodies at St Nicks Christmas Fair in York and we really want to keep that buzz going right on into 2012. Our first booking is the Wakefield Rhubarb Festival, with the Deliciously Yorkshire team, fingers crossed it’s a busy one.

Second is a re vamp of our website, taking onboard some ideas from our customers our aim is to offer you a really user friendly site. Watch this space…

Finally 2012 sees the launch of our brand new box hampers. Soon to be available on line, our glossy new box hampers went down a storm this Christmas, so watch the website for their official launch just in time for Valentine’s Day.
So, whilst I’m being ‘ultra organised’ do please get in touch if you feel there is anything you would like to suggest. Whether it be about an event you feel that we should be attending, or a shop you would like to see stock our products, or maybe a recipe or idea for the website you can always drop us an email or give us a call.

I leave you with a few photos of 2011 I came across whilst being distracted… enjoy!
